Where?

DZ bus at Netheravon     Netheravon hangar

We jump at Netheravon, a military base that is open to civilians at the weekends, running as the Army Parachute Association (APA). Located on Salisbury plain and just over an hour's drive from Portsmouth, Netheravon has the largest landing area in Europe - so you've got no excuse for not landing in it!

Facilities

Badger aircraft at Netheravon

The APA have some of the newest, safest kit in the UK, highly experienced instructors and three spacious Cessna Caravan Aircraft. The new hangar which opened in early 2010, has all the facilities you will need including a well stocked bar and a cafe with large screen TV's. If you want to stay overnight there is a basic bunkhouse and onsite campsite which are both free, and free hot showers and washblock.

Experienced jumpers will appreciate the large indoor packing area and creeper pad and easily available rigging services.

Events

Netheravon is a very socialable dropzone with regular fancy dress parties with various themes and occasions. The very reasonably-priced bar is open every Friday and Saturday night after the last load of the day.
