It's AGM time again!! Who's coming? I'm booking a room pretty soon.

Freshers the AGM is literally an invasion of skydivers from all around the UK to Bolton for one weekend! There are some really good seminars on during the day covering loads of aspects of the sport and even if you're fairly new, you'll take something useful away from the day. Did I forget to mention the evening entertainment/massive party afterwards - notoriously messy!

The daytime activities are at Bolton Wanders football ground, the Reebok stadium and the evening entertainment at the Devere hotel across the road. Depending on price I'm either staying at the Devere or the Premier Inn next door. Usually there'll be one or two rooms and whoever's coming can just pile in.

Can come via pompey if it makes it easier, it'll be an early start on the Saturday (28th Jan) and back on the Sunday.

Oh and Ant just to clarify again, the BPA AGM isn't the same as the Navy AGM :p

I'm in. I heard there is a travelodge or something over the road so it might be affordable to get half a bed each (when I've been in the past the hotel rooms have been more packed than a 4 FJC bunkhouse).

There's a premier inn nearby, £54 a night so a bit cheaper than the devere. We had five or six in the room last year and brought an inflatable double n it was pretty comfy. Think it depends on how many people are coming tho. It wouldn't be much more per person at the devere even if there's only a few of us per room. It'd be easier for predrinking too.

Isn't the Devere looking to be around £94? That extra cash could be spent on lots of alcohol for pre drinks!
Theresa best be getting involved

Nah £80 is the BPA rate and u can get it for £84 as another rate on the website, I was thinking tho if drinks are upstairs we can go upstairs to top up during the evening so paying the extra on the hotel may work out
