Tandem  Skydive

Tandem SkydiveA tandem skydive is the easiest way to experience freefall. After about an hour's training you'll be securely strapped to your instructor and board the aircraft. At around 13,000ft you will watch everyone else leap out, before edging towards the door yourself. Moments later you'll be hurtling towards the ground at about 120mph before your instructor safely opens your parachute after nearly a minute of freefall. Your tandem instructor will then help you steer the parachute to the landing area for a nice soft landing. If you want, you can even get a cameraman to jump with you to create a lasting record of your skydive.

The tandem skydives will be taking place on Saturday 15th May 2010 and Sunday 16th May 2010.

To sign up to do a tandem skydive please e-mail rag@upsu.net stating that you would like to do a tandem skydive, and also if you require transport to the dropzone or wish to make your own way there.
